I retired from Police Depart after 32 years. I have worked FT for the past 12 years contributing to SSI. In total i have about 24 years of substantial contribution to SSI. I know fall under the windfall exemption, but am i entitled to increased benefits??

Possibly. Whether or not your benefit rate is reduced due to the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP), Social Security retirement benefits can be recalculated annually to include additional years of Social Security covered earnings. And, if your benefit rate is reduced due to WEP and you have between 20 and 30 years of Social Security covered earnings that are defined as substantial under the WEP guidelines (https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10045.pdf), the amount of reduction caused by WEP can be lowered if you have an additional year of substantial Social Security covered earnings.

Social Security automatically recomputes benefit rates to account for additional years of Social Security covered earnings, and also to account for additional years of substantial earnings under the WEP provision. Therefore, you shouldn't need to do anything to receive any resulting benefit increases, however, you may be able to speed up the process by submitting proof of your most recent year's Social Security covered earnings and asking for a manual recomputation.
