can I get SSI after 65 and drawing social security if I become disabled ?
Hi,
If you're age 65 or older, you don't need to be disabled to qualify for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), which is a needs based program administered by Social Security. However, you must meet all of the other requirements in order to qualify. For more information, refer to Social Security's website: https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/.
Best, Jerry
