Is There A Limit On How Much You Can Make Working Part-Time While On Social Security?

Hi, Is there a limit to how much you can make working a part time job while on social security?

Hi. Yes, but only if you haven't yet reached your full retirement age (FRA)(https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/cfr20/404/404-0409.htm). In 2022, people who are below FRA can only earn up to $19,560 without potentially losing at least some of their benefits, although people reaching FRA this year can earn more without losing benefits. For more details, refer to the following Social Security website: https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/retirement/planner/whileworking.html.

Best, Jerry
