What Do I Need To Do?

I am currently on SSI. What happens when I turn 62 in January 2018 with these benefits and signing up with Social Security

Hi,

One of the requirements for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is that you must file for any other type of benefits for which you are eligible. Therefore, if you qualify for Social Security benefits at age 62 you will likely need to apply for them. You can do so by contacting Social Security, or you can file online on Social Security's website: https://secure.ssa.gov/iClaim/rib.

Best, Jerry
