I been with my boyfriend for 29 years we have one child together and I am on permanent disability we both agreed upon not getting married because he was married before and I had to go threw the hell of his divorce because of they had a child together so 18 years he paid child support in and out of court I helped raise his son as he raised my 2 daughters and our one we have together I worked gave him my check he deposited in his bank account I did not have a banking account everything is in his name only 3 harleys 2 cars house everything I helped him pay off everything over the years I worked I won a law suit so I paid off all his debts and put new pool, air conditioning unit, paid his mortgage for almost a year, utilities,cell phone,ect. Now that i cant work due to health issues I get only $726 a month for my disability but due to California doesn't consider common law marriage if something were to happen I GET NOTHING my disability check is all I get and I give him my money for rent utilities food clothing ect. Leaves me nothing so is there anything about significant other I cant get ebt or any other kind of funds because he makes to much SO I NEED SOME KIND OF HELP HE CLAIMS ME ON HIS TAXES HE GETS THE MONEY AS A DEPENDENT WHAT CAN I DO I PAID INTO SSI I PAID TAXES WHEN I WORKED THE FEDERAL, STATE, ECT TOOK OUT EVERY WEEK ON MY PAY CHECK PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE ON IF I HAVE ANY RIGHTS THANK YOU

You couldn't receive either Social Security spousal or survivor benefits based on your boyfriend's earnings history unless you've been legally married to him. The definition of a legal marriage varies by state, but if your relationship isn't recognized as a legal marriage then you wouldn't qualify for benefits from your boyfriend's Social Security record. Even if you were married, though, you'd need to meet the other requirements (https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/handbook/handbook.03/handbook-0305.html) in order to collect spousal benefits.
