I'm 64 I'm working I've been on ssdi since 2007.ssa has me as statutory blind.im receiving almost 1400 a month from ssdi.i make 1500 a month working for a year now.before that I've worked every year and totaled about 3500 dollars them past years.im on the ticket to work program.my question is how much will be getting when I turn 70.or whenever I'm not receiving ssdi

Hi. Your Social Security disability (SSDI) benefits will automatically convert to regular Social Security retirement benefits when you reach your full retirement age (FRA), but I can't tell you whether or not your earnings will cause your benefit rate to increase. SSDI benefits can be calculated based on an average of as few as 2 years of a person's earnings or as many as 35 years of earnings depending upon their age at the time they became disabled. Your current and future earnings could only increase your benefit rate if you earn more in a year than you did in one of the years currently being used to calculate your benefit rate.

Best, Jerry
