Will Your Software Program Maximize The Options For People Who Are Eligible For City Or State Pensions?

Both my husband and I have paid into social security (over 40 quarters) and both of us will have retirement pensions from either City or State employment. Does this program have options to include that information, along with our SS info? Will it maximize the options for either/both/combo for a couple?

What Do I Put In The Big Box On The Form Appealing My Disability Check?

What do I put in the big box on form ssa statement of claimant appealing my disability check

Hi. I'm not sure what form you're referring to. If you're filing for reconsideration, which is the first appeals step, you would use form SSA-561. In the areas provided on the form you would explain what issue you're appealing, and why you disagree with Social Security's determination.

If The Deceased Was Born On August 9th When Should My Payment Hit The Bank?

If deseaced was born on Aug 9:bwhen shouldnmy payment hit the bank?

Hi. I assume you mean that you've filed for survivor benefits on the record of a deceased spouse. If your spouse was born on the 9th of a month and assuming that you aren't also drawing benefits on your own account, your survivor benefits should be paid on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

So I Would Wait With No Money For 5 Months?

So I would still wait with no money for 5 months

Hi. We receive a lot of questions, so I don't know whether or not your question is a follow up to a response to a previous question. In any case, I can't give you any advice if I don't know what your circumstances are.

Since you mention 5 months, though, I assume you're referring to the waiting period for Social Security disability (SSDI) benefits. That is part of the Social Security law, so it's true that people who qualify for SSDI benefits can't be paid benefits for the first 5 full calendar . . . Read More

Hi. My area of expertise is limited to Social Security benefits, so I can only address your question with regard to the benefit programs that Social Security administers. Social Security benefit amounts are based on the earnings history of the worker on whose record the benefits are based. You don't even mention what type of Social Security benefits you receive, so there's no way for me to know if you may be due any additional Social . . . Read More

Could I Be Eligible To Receive Benefits Off Of My Deceased Mother's Record?

I get adult SSI but I got diagnosed when I was a child. I have medical records dating back40 years or more, was hospitalized numerous times as a child, but didn't get benefits until my early 20s because my mother didn't know to apply.
