How do I go about getting answers to my questions?
I believe I'm entitled to possibly 1/2 of my ex husbands SS retirement.
How can I find out how much that will be, and at what age can I draw off of it?

Divorced after 36 years, I retired on SSD at age 62. My ex is still working but will retire soon, I believe at age 66/4mths. Will I receive any of his SS?

my husband served me with divorce papers in Jan 2022 and my first husband said that he went to social security for hie retired pension and put me down to receive half can i still get some of my first husband pension or do i have to wait untill divorce is final

When can I collect my X-husbands benefits. I'm on SSDI and will be 62. 08/02/2022. We were married over 10 years. I'd like to collect on his SS.

I am at my FRA right now( April 2022). I have not filed for my own as benefits yet. I was married for over 10 yrs and divorced more than 2 years ago. my question is this: Can I file for spousal benefits at the same time I file for my own benefit or should I only file for spousal benefits and let my own benefit grow a little longer? my ex-husband is 68 but has not filed for his own as yet. I do not work . would i even get a spousal benefit since my own ss is greater than 50% of what his would be? thanks. it's all confusing to me and glad i found this site.

My ex-husband had to take an early retirement of October 1st of 2021 and he is 60 years old and I am too and we were married for 19 years and have been divorced for 14 am I entitled to the divorce benefits or do I have to wait until I'm 62

I bought your book and the software -- thank you. My question: I am writing on behalf of a family member. My 61-year old sister (birthday Sep 1960) is disabled. She has been on Social Security Disability (Medicare) since Sep 2021, and on SSDI since Sep 2019. She currently receives ~$300 per month SSDI (her own SS). She was married for 35 years and divorced 3 years ago (Mar 2019). Her former husband (born 1946) started his SS income when he was 62-years old, in 2008, and currently receives about mid-$2000s per month.

I was born in 1961 and my Ex-spouse was born in 1970. We were married for 12 years. I have not remarried. Can I collect Ex-spousal benefits when I hit early retirement (62) or when/if I receive SSDI, or do I have to wait until he reaches retirement age (62 or FRA)? If I cannot collect Ex-spousal benefits until he reaches retirement age, can I collect my own and then collect his later?

My husband divorced me Dec 2016 and I had to move to another state, circumstances loosing everything and only having my clothes, going on ssi, can I receive divorced benefits being on ssi after I turn 60 this year
